Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the women of the Presley family went to the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. They paid a special tribute to Elvis Presley before the release of his biopic.
Since Wednesday, June 22, the biopic telling the life of Elvis Presley is broadcast in dark rooms. Directed by Baz Luhrmann with Austin Butler in the main role, the film is particularly awaited by fans of the King. The day before its release, the director and actor joined all women in the Presley family for a special event, in front of the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.
Indeed, the widow of Elvis Presley, Priscilla (77 years old), her daughter Lisa Marie (54) and her three daughters, Riley (32 years old), Harper and Finley (13 years old) joined in the famous rue du Walk of Hollywood Fame. Gathered in front of the photographers, the three generations of Presley put their hands in the clay, just like Elvis had done next to his star, years earlier. After this beautiful moment, they posed alongside Baz Luhrmann and Austin Butler.
A rare appearance of the full Presley family
Since the tragic death of Benjamin, the youngest son of Lisa Marie, two years ago, the Presley family had rarely been fully assembled. For the occasion, the women had decided to match their outfits with black color. Indeed, Priscilla and Lisa Marie had opted for a black tuxedo with a white shirt. For his part, Riley Keough had chosen a leather set. The actress who won the Camera d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his film war pony was particularly resplendent.
Finally, twins Harper and Finley, born of Lisa-Marie Presley’s relationship with music producer, Michael Lockwood, caught everyone’s eye. Aged 13, they are well protected by their family and appear very little in public. The two teenage girls sketched shy smiles and sported very different styles. If Finley had opted for a look similar to that of his mother, with a short skirt and pumps, his sister Harper had chosen a pretty floral dress and white sneakers. Sublime little girls that Elvis Presley would probably have been very proud of.
