The mobility issues that crippled her for weeks, requiring her to walk with a cane and cancel numerous appearances, are surely not over but are far less present. Seen without the aid of a cane during her meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at Windsor Castle this Tuesday, June 21, Elizabeth II had permission from her doctors to get back in the saddle. The 96-year-old monarch plans to be in residence at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh, when other members of the Royal Family travel to Scotland to attend several events taking place between June 27 and July 1.
